/ King James ordered 400 words (times each used) in his Bible ceganhd to very different words. Being a devoted Catholic he believed as they have, than no one other then Catholic priests should ever read a Bible. (Not even nuns could have a Bible until quite recently). So he figured if people did Not have the truth that would help. Since Five english translations were already in print. Even King Henry the 8th.Since then four centuries have passed and over 1,200 words, times each used, meanings have totally ceganhd and that is why you seeing a difference here! Just look over the past 40 years (one tenth of the time) “gay” use to mean “happy cheerful”, now it means “homosexual”.Fortunately “gay” in not in modern Bibles. And in King James time “gay” meant “fine” then. You can see these in a concordance.
