Doral Bank Direct 2.25% APY Savings Account
Doral Bank Direct is now offering 2.25% APY savings account rates that are nationally available. In February Doral Bank Direct had to limit their applications to a handful of states after offering a 3.5% APY account, but they are back and available to everyone. The account requires at least $1,000 to earn 2.25% and you need to have at least $250 to avoid their monthly service fee.
Doral Bank Direct is also offering some competitive CD rates including a 2.5% APY 9-36 month CD and 3% APY on terms above 36 months. The minimum deposit is $1,000.
Doral Direct Savings also has a competitive rate. It’s currently 2.25% APY as of 4/22/09. A minimum balance of $1,000 is required to earn the rate. A minimum of $250 is required to avoid a monthly service charge.
