As we all know Countrywide was taken over by Bank of America because of its financial troubles, and now Countrywide has been officially rebranded as Bank of America Home Loans. For those that are looking for the new login for their old Countrywide accounts they’re located at: www.bankofamerica.com/cwcustomers.

    I have a BOA Countrywide Mortgage which is paid up until 2011 (October I think) and with Countrywide I would have to notify them if I want to make payments on principal only until that specific time – I am paid up the way I understand our agreement. Will this remain the same? I would like to pay miscellaneous amounts, and at anytime I can, in the time till 2011 that would
    go only on principal must I put that in some sort of offical notice other than this? How do I go about doing this??

    I made an online payment for my mortgage on 12/11 and see that as of 12/13 it hasn’t been posted from my checking account. How long does this take? I have a confirmation# and do not want to be delinquent on my payment.
