Fairmont Federal Credit Union 5.01% Interest Checking Account in West Virginia

Fairmont Federal Credit Union is offering 5.01% APY for their interest online checking account on balances up to $25,000. Balances above $25,000 get a rate of 1.01%. They will also refund up to $20 in ATM fees per cycle. In order to qualify for this interest rate you must make 12 debit card purchases, one direct deposit, sign into home banking, and receive your monthly statements electronically.

If you don’t meet the requirements the interest rate falls to just .15%. There’s no minimum balance requirement and no monthly service fee.

Fairmont Federal Credit Union is open to those who live, work, worship, volunteer or go to school in one of the following West Virginia counties: Marion, Monongalia, Harrison and Taylor. Membership requires a minimum balance of $5 in the share savings account. Fairmont Federal Credit Union is federally insured by the NCUA.
