Quantum National Bank is offering some of the best CD rates available today including a 3.10% APY 30 month CD, a 2.76% APY 1 year certificate of deposit, a 2.97% APY 2 year CD, and a 3.5% APY 5 year CD. The minimum deposit for all CDs is $1,000.

There’s an online application to open CDs and this deal is available nationally. You can fund your account by check or wire transfer. You should also note that the early withdrawal penalty is a pretty stiff 6 months’ interest.

Quantum Bank branches are located in Suwanee and Milton, Georgia. Quantum has a 2 out of 5 star soundness ratings from bankrate and is FDIC insured. Remember to always stay under the $250,000 insured limit for all your bank accounts.

It’s a country road with no buildings in sight. This does NOT give me any warm fuzzies about sending my money via wire transfer.

505 Peachtree Industrial Blvd. Suwanee, GA 30024 does appear to be a real address, but 2905 Bethany Bend, Alpharetta GA 30004 does not. Have you checked this place out yourself?

I can see the building using their satellite view. I have not visited their bank in person as I’m from Philadelphia, but I’ve checked up on them at the FDIC website: http://www2.fdic.gov/idasp/main_bankfind.asp

their info is there and matches the address they have. I’d suggest visiting them if they’re close to you or perhaps calling them.

I see that the other location isn’t coming up on google maps, however, I’ve tried to find locations, that I know for a fact exist but don’t show up on google maps.

Can’t vouch for this place as I’ve never physically been to that branch, but I wouldn’t assume it doesn’t exist just based on the google maps thing.

It appears to be one or more typos on the bank’s website for the 2905 Bethany Bend address.

Unfortunately the Milton Branch number is not good any longer and that branch isn’t open on Saturday as is the Suwanee Branch so it’s not a very convienient location.
