First Command Bank is offering a 4.00% APY 1 year CD and a 3.75% certificate of deposit 6 months. The minimum deposit for these rates is $10,000 but for a $1,000 minimum the APYs are 3.45% for 6 months and 3.95% for 1 year.

The early withdrawal penalty is 30 days’ interest for the 6 month CD and 90 days for the one year CD. Interest accrues daily and is credit quarterly on amounts less than $10,000 and credited monthly on $10,000 or more.
