WT Direct Free $75 Savings Account Promotion
WT Direct is giving away a free $75 bonus for their savings accounts when you sign up for direct deposit. This can be for new checking accounts or existing accounts that have not yet signed up for direct deposit.
All you have to do is log into your account after you’ve created it and click on the banner on your account summaries page. To qualify you must maintain a balance of $10,000 on July 31st, 2009 and make a direct deposit for every month of at least $300 between July 1st and September 30th, 2009.
The current rate on their savings account is 1.76% APY which isn’t too shabby in the current savings market. If you meet only the minimums needed for this promotion you end up getting the equivalent of about 4% APY during the 4.5 month period you need to keep your account open.
Your $75 bonus will be credited to your account by October 15th.
