They do offer a free checking account with no monthly fees which qualifies for the promotion. No promo code is needed but a branch visit is needed to open your account. Sterling Savings Bank branches are located in Washington State, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and in the San Francisco Bay Area. Sterling Savings Bank is a FDIC insured bank.
