Huntington Bank $100 Checking Promotion

Huntington National Bank is offering a promotion where you get $100 for opening a new checking account. The promotion is available nationally except to residents of California (not sure why). Here’s a link to their promotional page. The promotion ends on February 27, 2010. There’s an online application for their free checking account. To receive the bonus you must setup direct deposit or make 5 check card purchases within 60 days of opening your account. The bonus is credited within 90 days of opening your account. You also need to keep your account open for 180 days or pay an early closure fee. One other thing to note is the account has a dormant fee which you get hit with if you don’t use your account for 6 months.
